Important Law Enforcement Reporting Requirement
Every Kansas law enforcement agency must submit a report to the KBI each year prior to February 1. This report is required even if you did not have any civil asset forfeiture activity during the prior year. [K.S.A. 60-4127 (d)] More information is available on the KBI wesite. 2023 Report of the Civil Asset Forfeiture Advisory Committee on 2023 H.B. 2380. (December 2023) 2017 The legislature referred all 2017 civil forfeiture related bills to the Judicial Council for study and recommendation. (See the list of bills below.)
