Support of Law Enforcement and Humanizing Officers/Deputies
There is no doubt law enforcement must act to humanize our officers and to interact positively with our communities. We must support our mission of service to the citizens of our communities, who give us our authority to enforce the laws passed by their legislative representatives. We must act proactively with firmness in our investigation of suspicious activity and violators of the law, but that action must be performed with the highest integrity, fairness, and impartiality. All this while defending the safety of ourselves, our communities, and those we interact with.
