Some of the contents:
- Work on the Kansas Detention Assessment Instrument (KDAI) has been finalized by the Kansas Office of Judicial Administration and the Kansas Department of Corrections-Juvenile Services. Beginning July 1, the KDAI will be required to be used statewide as part of the juvenile intake process to determine eligibility of youth for placement in a juvenile detention center.
- The KDOC-JS Graduated Sanctions, Graduated Sanctions Administrative Regulations (KAR 123-17-101), KDOC-JS Community Supervision Standard (CSS 04-139), KDOC-JS Incentives Grid, KDOC-JS Response Grid, and KDOC-JS Violations Levels Report have all been finalized. The Kansas Administrative Regulation on the graduated response and reward grids (K.A.R. 123-17-101) was published in the Kansas Register on 4-27-2017 with the effective date being 5-12-2017.
